- National Championship Jerry Tarkanian's Runnin' Rebels defeated Duke 103-73 in the national championship game - the largest margin of victory (30 points) in title game history.
- Undefeated Regular Season UNLV entered the 1991 NCAA Tournament with a perfect 34-0 record before a stunning Final Four loss to Duke.
"Tark the Shark" took UNLV to four Final Fours and built the program into a national powerhouse.
The arena became one of college basketball's most intimidating home courts during the Tarkanian dynasty.
The 1991 National Player of the Year led UNLV to back-to-back Final Fours.
